How do I edit or cancel a request?

You can only edit an offer or request that you created. You cannot edit someone else's. Also, if a request has already been confirmed, you cannot edit it. If you need to make changes, please do the following:

  • Cancel/Withdraw the offer / request
  • Create a new offer / request
    • Why do you have to cancel and make a new request? Right now our system is not set up to notify users of a change in appointment or request. We want to reduce the risk of you and your team potentially missing an important change in appointment/request. 

      When you delete and make a new request the assigned people are notified.

      In future ianacare product updates we will allow users to edit current appointments/requests and build in a system for all users to be notified of the change. Right now, users will have to create a NEW offer or request if the original offer or requests changes after it is published.

  • Does this only apply to pending request only?

    What if I want to cancel accepted request? (Background: my surgery date is being postponed. Need to cancel all the request and reschedule when new date is set).
