How do I edit or cancel a request?

You can edit or cancel a request or offer that you created. You can't edit someone else's.

Editing

Unconfirmed requests (no one has accepted yet) can be edited. Open the request and tap Edit.
Confirmed requests (someone already tapped "I GOT THIS") can't be edited. Cancel it and create a new one so no one misses a change.
Repeating requests: only series that don't contain a confirmed event can be edited.
Exception: Appointment and Medication Reminders stay editable even after they're confirmed.

Canceling

Open the request and tap CANCEL EVENT. Anyone assigned to the request is notified when you cancel.

If plans change on a confirmed request, cancel it and create a new request. Everyone assigned is notified of the cancellation and will see the new details.

Desktop

The same rules apply on the web app: unconfirmed requests show an Edit option, confirmed regular requests show only Cancel, and Appointment and Medication Reminders keep Edit and Delete even after they're confirmed.

Does this only apply to pending request only?

What if I want to cancel accepted request? (Background: my surgery date is being postponed. Need to cancel all the request and reschedule when new date is set).
