How does "Medication Reminder" work?

Medication Reminders are a type of "Tasks & Asks" available to users with a caregiver, organizer, or care recipient role. You can set up reminders for as many medications as you need.

Setting up a medication reminder

  • Medication Type: type the medication name (e.g., Fluoxetine, Aspirin).
  • Amount per dosage: e.g., 1 x 5mg tablet, 30mL.
  • Medication Start Date and optional End Date. With no end date, the reminder repeats daily, indefinitely.
  • Dosage time: if the medication is taken multiple times a day, add multiple dosage times.
  • Choose visibility: shown on the shared team calendar, or private.
  • Choose who gets notified using "Send Notification To:". By default, only you are notified. People you add will see an alert under Alerts and can tap ENABLE REMINDERS to get notifications on their own device.

Managing reminders

Open the reminder's details to:

  • Add to Personal Calendar: sync it to your phone's calendar.
  • Mute Reminders: pause notifications anytime.

Desktop web

You can set up medication reminders on the web app, but reminder notifications require the mobile app. The web app will show you a QR code to download it when you create one.
