What is iana™ and how do I use it?

iana™ is your AI care companion, built right into ianacare. It's the first thing caregivers and care recipients see on the Home screen, ready to answer caregiving questions, suggest next steps, and point you to the right support any time. AI when you want it. A real person when you need one.

Who can use iana™?

Caregivers and care recipients on a team see the iana™ chat on their Home screen, on both the mobile and web app. (Supporters and organizers have their own Home experience built around ways to support.)

Starting a conversation

Type anything into the Ask iana™ box: a question, a worry, or a task you need help with. You can also tap a suggestion to get started:

  • Create an action plan to get access to local resources (or, once you have a plan, See suggested tasks from my action plan)
  • I'm feeling overwhelmed (for a supportive check-in when you need one)

During a chat

Your messages appear in teal; iana's replies appear as plain text. Under each reply you'll find thumbs-up / thumbs-down buttons (your feedback helps iana improve) and a copy button to copy the response.

Tap the menu in the chat header to Start a new chat, View chat history, Provide feedback, or Delete this chat. Past conversations are saved in your Care log history so you can pick them back up any time.
